My nail art!

Neon Crackle Rainbow

Rainbow Neon Crackle

I just got the China Glaze Summer Neons collection…and they are amazing! I love all the colors. I actually only ordered eight of the colors, but was sent the entire set of twelve by mistake (whoo-hoo!). These colors are by far the most vivid, easy-to-apply neon polishes. I felt a neon crackle rainbow would be appropriate as my first polish test.

Polish used:
China Glaze – Strong Adhesion Base Coat
China Glaze – (Summer Neons Collection 2012): Love’s A Beach, Hang-Ten Toes, Beach Cruise-R, Under The Boardwalk, Splish Splash, I’m With The Lifeguard, Sun-Kissed, Orange You Hot?, Surfin’ For Boys, Pink Plumeria
Nicole by OPI – Black Texture
Seche Vite – Dry Fast Top Coat

Dark Purple & Black Gradient Nails

Purple Black Gradient

This is my favorite purple polish.  It looks especially good with black in this gradient form.  I’m going to be upset when I finish the bottle!

Polish used:

OPI – Natural Nail Base Coat
OPI – Black Onyx
Nicole by OPI – Give Me A Spring Break
Nicole by OPI – Top Coat Plus

Tools used:

makeup sponge
rhinestones

Leopard Nails

Leopard Nails

They turned out pretty good except for the smudges the top coat gave me!  This was my first time using Nicole by OPI – Top Coat Plus and it wasn’t a good first impression.  However, it may partly be my fault because I get so impatient waiting for my nails to dry.  Still, my regular OPI Top Coat doesn’t usually give me smudges like this unless my nails are really wet.

Polish used:

OPI – Natural Nail Base Coat
OPI – Barefoot In Barcelona
OPI – Can You Tapas This?
Kiss Nail Art Paint – Black
Nicole by OPI – Top Coat Plus
