These ones were tricky to get the blood splatter to ‘splatter’ right, but I managed with a combination of a straw and a can of compressed air. I also think I should have used OPI – I’m Not Really A Waitress instead of Nicole by OPI – OMB! just because ‘OMB!’ has a pink look to it rather than the deep red that ‘I’m Not Really A Waitress’ has. The reason why I didn’t go with ‘Waitress’ was because my bottle is almost empty and has thickened so much over the years that I didn’t think it would ‘splatter’ well. Although, I guess I could have thinned it out…it probably would have been much better to work with.

Since Halloween is creeping up, I thought it would be fun to start my Halloween manicures. Plus, I wanted to have fun with my new matte top coat. Matte nails look awesome in person, especially when you are used to shinny nails. It’s a big difference and a nice change.
