China Glaze – Get Carried Away

Here is ‘Get Carried Away’ from the China Glaze Cirque Du Soleil collection.  I was excited to try this polish since many people were disappointed in it.  I wanted to see it for myself.

I do really like this polish, but it is a big pain in the ass to work with!  It has got to be the most goopy, chunky polish I have ever seen.  I think it would be a lot easier to use if it was thinned out.  It’s a jelly polish with chunks of big and little glitter, with some bar glitter.  The problem is that it is really hard to get it on your nail even because everything wants to clump up on the tips or get caught in your cuticles (as you can see!).  The picture is with three coats and one coat of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.  If you like nice smooth polish then you will have to use several coats of top coat to get this polish smooth.  It also likes to get caught in everything, but it was fun to wear for a few days.
