Hello Kitty French Manicure

Hello Kitty French Mani

I have re-created this manicure from the cutepolish video.  I have seen this cute design, all over, by everyone in different variations.  Go Hello Kitty!

Polish used:

OPI – Alpine Snow
Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear – Mellow Yellow
OPI – Black Onyx
OPI – Bullish On OPI
Seche Vite – Dry Fast Top Coat

Tools used:
nail dotting tool

Pretty Pink Bubblegum

Pretty Pink Bubblegum

They remind me of bubblegum from far away.  Too bad I didn’t get a shot from far ’cause they look so pretty.

Polish used:
OPI – Natural Nail Base Coat
OPI – Pink-ing Of You
China Glaze – Hang-Ten Toes
OPI – Alpine Snow
Seche Vite – Dry Fast Top Coat

Tools used:
makeup sponge
image plate: BM-206
image plate: BM-221
Konad scraper & stamp

And look what you can do after a weeks worth of wear and tear…(I hate when my entire nail chips off!)  But, quick fixes can be fun.  The polka dots resemble gumballs.

Crime Scene Nails

Crime Scene Nails

These ones were tricky to get the blood splatter to ‘splatter’ right, but I managed with a combination of a straw and a can of compressed air.  I also think I should have used OPI – I’m Not Really A Waitress instead of Nicole by OPI – OMB!  just because ‘OMB!’ has a pink look to it rather than the deep red that ‘I’m Not Really A Waitress’ has.  The reason why I didn’t go with ‘Waitress’ was because my bottle is almost empty and has thickened so much over the years that I didn’t think it would ‘splatter’ well.  Although, I guess I could have thinned it out…it probably would have been much better to work with.

Polish used:
OPI – Natural Nail Base Coat
Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear – Celeb City
Nicole by OPI – OMB!
Seche Vite – Dry Fast Top Coat
